Konig Constructions was established in mid 2000 by a young German-Australian Carpenter – Frank Koenigsmann, initially taking on smaller suburban construction and fit out jobs, the company has prospered from then.

Frank Koenigsmann Director of Konig Constructions started within the building industry in 1978 as a apprentice carpenter for Z Formwork and during the years has been in charge of many projects within Melbourne.

Later went on to help design, construct and build the Lubeca mark 2 jump form employing and training more than 150 staff members for Hans Schmidt.

This then led onto working with Grollos / Grocon for over 12 years working with Stan Falloon and Ian Skinner as a construction manager within Grocon and looking after some exiting projects as 42 level Telecom Building Exhibition Street, 64 level Governor Phillip tower in Sydney, Melbourne’s Crown Casino, The Westin hotel on the city square and HMAS beach apartments Rouse in Port Melbourne just to mention a few.

Frank Koenigsmann then formed Konig Constructions. The company then started on smaller projects and now on larger projects such as the 8 Porter Street Prahran. These projects reflect Frank Koenigsmann’s ambition to take on larger and even more complex projects.

In 2010 Konig Constructions became a boutique builder for developers with projects that were difficult to build due to size, height, location, access and complexity.

From this point onward Konig Constructions began to take on a range of diverse projects such as 42 Porter Street Prahran and 21 Beaconsfield Parade Port Melbourne.

Both these sites were over 8 levels with basement car parking, to maximize the use of the land size including a complex site access and constructability issues.

This mix of technical and managerial know-how coupled with a unified and dedicated workforce has been the key fundamental underpinning Konig Constructions building efficiency, safety and unmatched industrial relations record.

This achievement of Konig Constructions keenly reflected the company's ability to execute a project ahead of time and within budget whilst utilising cutting edge concrete technology.  These same qualities have since been consistently applied to all projects undertaken by the company.
